Bobby Lane Johnson

Bobby Lane Johnson, age 54, of Knoxville, passed away on August 6, 2016. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a very special person who always had a smile on his face and touched a lot of people’s lives. He will be missed dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth Johnson; brother, Kenneth Johnson; and great niece, Breanna King. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Patsy Johnson; sons, Jeremy Johnson (Cassie) and Brent Bailey; daughters, Angel Burgin and Jennifer Johnson; step-children Jamey Bailey (Scott), Byron Bailey, and James Bailey (Barbara); 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; siblings Gene Johnson (Kaye), Debbie Wright, Patricia Ables, Melissa Rutherford (Darrell) and Melinda Felch (Steve); special friends Jeff Browning and Ray Light; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with Pastor Charlie Reynolds officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Friday at Greenwood Cemetery for 11:00 am interment. Wayne Kirby, Jr., Eugene Perry, David Williamson, Byron Bailey, Scott McCarty and Terry King will be serving as pallbearers.
