Bobby "Bob" J. Palmer

Bobby J. Palmer, age 89, of Knoxville, passed away September 24, 2024. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was a US Army veteran, retired from the US Postal Service, and greatly enjoyed fishing and gardening. Bob will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband and father, who loved his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann; parents, Joe and Leola Palmer; sister, Patricia Pace; infant child. Survived by sons, Warren (Edwina) Palmer and Wes (Kelly) Palmer; grandchildren, Andrew (Ashleigh), Paul, Sydney, and Cole Palmer; great-grandchild, Kayce Palmer; brother, Judson Palmer. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, October 4, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with service to follow.
