Bobbie Jean Parrott, age 81 of Powell, born October 9, 1932, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Preceded in death by husband, Ernest Parrott; son, Greg Parrott; parents, Carl and Katherine Steele; brother, Jack Steele, and granddaughter, Ashley Solomon. Survived by sons, Gene and wife Cheryl, Chuck and wife Mandy, Danny and wife Vicki; daughters, Kathy Lamb and husband Gary, and Karen Miller; ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of loving friends and neighbors. Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet 10:30 am Friday at the funeral home and proceed to Ft. Sumter Cemetery for 11:00 am graveside service, Rev. John Holland officiating.
