Bill Ray Wilkerson

Bill Ray Wilkerson, age 63, of Knoxville, passed away on Monday, September 18th, 2017. He attended New Fellowship Baptist Church and was self-employed as a logger for more than 45 years in the greater Knoxville area. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by parents Vasco and Anna Lou Bailey Wilkerson and brothers Ulis and Kyle Wilkerson. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Carolyn Wilkerson, children Cindy Wilkerson and Billy Wilkerson, Jr., and wife Angela, grandchildren Conner and Colton Wilkerson and Kaylee and Delana Wilkerson, siblings Christine Morgan, Deborah Hubbard, and husband Don, Bernice Whaley, and husband Kenny, Diane Rippy, and husband Tommy, Joyce Taylor, and husband Steve, Judy Sproles, and husband Alan, Everette Wilkerson, and wife Lucy, and Michael Wilkerson, and wife Teresa, several nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 21st, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 22nd, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with interment to immediately follow at Clear Springs Cemetery, Mascot, TN.
