Betty June Turner

Betty June Turner, age 90, of Powell, TN, passed away peacefully at home on May 28, 2018, surrounded by family. She was a long time member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Turner; daughter, Marilyn Burleson; great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Walker; sisters Barbara Webb and Carole Ellis; brother, Ron Bayless. She is survived by her sons Marcus Burleson and wife Marty, and Michael Burleson and wife Karen; grandchildren Shannon McKee, Marca Hance, Carrie Kiley, Scott Dyer, Wendy Haire, Michaela Hill, Isaac Burleson, Marley Hill, Elijah Burleson; great-grandchildren Timothy Hance, Lucas Kiley, Jasmine Dyer, Cannon Haire, Connor Haire, Austin Hill, Will Burgin, Wyatt Burleson; great-great grandchildren Ky Watkins, Addyson Lane; sister Billye Makres. Family and friends will meet 10:45AM Saturday Lynnhurst Cemetery for interment. Family will receive friends 5-7PM Friday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with funeral service to follow, Dr. Sonny Strange of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Jefferson City officiating.
