Betty Ann Clark

Betty Ann Clark (Combs), 75, passed away on August 29, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and memories that will be treasured by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Betty was truly one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She was full of life and love, had a wonderful sense of humor, and a smile that could light up a room. She would have done anything for anyone, and her warmth and kindness were something people noticed from the moment they met her. She loved deeply, laughed often, and had a way of making the people around her feel loved and cared for.

Betty loved to work and loved being able to help others. Before becoming ill, she especially loved serving her church and her community, whether she was volunteering in the church kitchen, helping at the soup kitchen, or simply finding another way to lend a hand. Serving others wasn’t just something Betty did, it was part of who she was.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Steve; her daughter, Misty; son in law, Ricky Taylor; grandchildren, Joshua and Evan Taylor; great grandchildren, Brelyn and Liam Taylor; and her sister, Rosetta, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and many, many dear friends. To her family, she was also lovingly known as Nana, a name she carried with so much love.

Betty was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Combs, and her siblings, Barbara Sue, Carlotta, and Ronnie.

Her family and friends will miss her beautiful smile, her laughter, her kindness, and most of all, the incredible love she gave so freely. The world is a little less bright without Betty in it, but the love she gave will remain with us always.

Family and friends will gather at Woodlawn Cemetery for an 11:00am Graveside Service on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
