Betty Henderson Arnwine, 93 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 12, 2024. She was a member of Free Spirit Missionary Baptist church.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Jack Henderson and second husband, Lon Arnwine; parents, Reverend and Mrs. C. L. Carr; and brothers, Phillip Carr and Hubert Carr.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Patricia Chapman (JD), son, Wayne Henderson (Jody); grandchildren, Chris Flatford (Kristy), Ashley Sluss (Jason), Sarah Shults (Chris); great-grandchildren, Savannah Munsey (Jake), Hannah Flatford, Leah Flatford, Caleb Shults, Carson Shults; great-great granddaughter, Brinnley Munsey; special niece, Jacque Moneymaker; many more nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm officiated by Reverend Wayne Henderson.
Family and friends will gather at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 9:30 am to proceed to Fort Sumter Community Cemetery where Betty will be laid to rest.
Pallbearers: Chris Flatford, Jason Sluss, Chris Shults, Jake Munsey, Jimmy Henderson, Andre Pratt; Honorary Pallbearers: J.D. Chapman, Ronnie Moneymaker, Willard Carr, Claude Carr and Alan Graves.
