Bernie McGill

Bernie McGill, age 63, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away March 4, 2024. Bernie was a “Happy Go Lucky” kind of guy who always had a positive outlook on life. He was a plumber who loved his trade and was proud of the numerous jobs that he had completed in the Knoxville area. Bernie enjoyed a good game of pool, poker and horseshoes. He liked to go camping, fishing and always hunted ginseng when in season. Most of all, he adored his daughter Brittney very much. Bernie was a Christian and read his devotionals every morning. He really focused on his relationship with the Lord the last few years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Beulah McGill. He is survived by his daughter, Brittney McGill; sisters, Kathy Crowe and Jenny Hilburn. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday evening March 7, 2024 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet by 2:45 PM Monday, March 8, 2024 at Hutchison-Settle Cemetery, Anderson County, TN for a 3:00 PM interment service.
