Becky Lynn Mase age 48, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. She was born on July 19, 1977 to her late parents, Brad and Betty Oglesby. Becky was a graduate from Anderson County High School and went on to attend Carson Newman University on a Basketball Scholarship.
Becky’s heart was a rare and beautiful thing, big enough to hold everyone she met, and she had a one-of-a-kind gift for making anyone in her presence feel deeply loved. She was the true light of any room she walked into, filling the air with a warmth and kindness that will never be forgotten. For 24 beautiful years, she was married to the absolute love of her life Brian Mase, having had the immense pleasure of calling him her best friend for 32 years. Her greatest happiness, however, was found in her boys, Alex and Aron (lovingly known as Turtle Bug). She was their biggest champion, finding her purest joy in watching them play any sport their hearts desired and working tirelessly to ensure they had the opportunity to chase every single dream. Her legacy of love, laughter, and selflessness lives on through her devoted husband, her fine young men, and her two loyal pups, Fenway and Little Bit. She was a true blessing to this world, and her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. Becky Lynn Mase (You Are Our Sunshine).
In addition to her parents, Becky was also preceded in death by her sister, April Carlton.
Becky is survived by her loving husband, Brian Mase; sons, Alex Mase and Aron Mase; sister, Anita Sumlin; and twin brother, Brad Oglesby; and countless other family members.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00 PM officiated by Mark Jenkins and Donnie Woods.
