Barbara Jean Stanton

Barbara (Bobbi) Jean Stanton, 68, of Claxton, TN passed over on July 1, 2026 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. Bobbi was the CEO of B&B Lodge.  She was a beautiful spirit who loved her husband, children, family and friends. She was also a mother and grandmother to many people throughout her life regardless of blood relation. She loved to quilt, garden, can/preserve food, constantly providing for family, friends or anyone in need. Bobbi was loved by many. She will be missed and will live on in our hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hobert & Christine Murphy; brothers, Phillip Murphy and David Murphy. 

Bobbi is survived by her husband and lifelong friend, Bob Stanton; children, Mike (Cindy), Jamie Ellis (Allen); sister, Carolyn Phelps; grandchildren, Michaela and McKinley Stanton, Kaytlyn Halcomb, Garret Riggs, Layla Riggs, Jasper Halcomb and Elaina Halcomb.

The family will have a memorial service at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel in Powell, TN at a later date.
