Barbara Ann Rutherford

Barbara Ann (Rowland) Rutherford, age 70, of Fountain City passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 30, 2023. She graduated from Young High School in 1970. She was a devoted wife mother and nana. She enjoyed shopping and talking on the phone.

Preceded in death by parents Lyle and Nell Rowland, Dan (dog) Rutherford who passed away December 29, 2022. Sister Clara Jean Rowland and brother Jimmy Rowland.

Survived by daughter Valerie (Israel) Hill, sons; Brad (Alicia) Rutherford and Greg Moore, Grandchildren; Christian Dawes, Alanah, Bradley Jr., Liam, and Dante Rutherford, Morgan and Wesley Vandergriff, Natalie and Alexis Moore, 6 great grandchildren, sister Brenda Flenniken, brother Charles (Ina)Rowland, sister-in-law, Anna Rowland, and several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City. Family and friends will meet at 1:15 PM Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Fort Sumter Community Cemetery for a 1:30 PM graveside service with Rev. Cedric Johnson officiating
