Barbara Kay Moore, 62, of Knoxville, passed away on May 14, 2026. She was born on September 18, 1963 to the late James and Faye (Goggins) Julian.
Barbara was always the life of the party. She enjoyed vacationing on cruise ships and relished in music and dancing with those she loved. She will be deeply missed by her family and those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Mark “Tony” Moore; sisters, Arlene Godfrey, Betty Pique, and Savannah Julian; as well as longtime companion, Darrell Cooper.
She is survived by her children, LeAnne Thompson (James), A.J. Moore (Rebecca), and Torez Moore; grandchildren: Brooklyn, Andrew, Colton, Kaiden, Eli, Bristol, and Raelynn; step-grandchildren, Myah and James; great-grandchild, Asher; siblings, Debbie Passmore (Mike), Hilda Cash (Steve), and Mark Julian; brother-in-law, Melvin Godfrey; special cousin, Janie, along with her family; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Call at Your Convenience will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery at 1:45 pm for a 2:00 pm graveside service, Rev. Ron Mouser officiating.
