Barbara June Miller

Barbara June (Petty) Miller, age 87, of Knoxville went to meet her Heavenly Father on Friday, August 9, 2024.  She was a lifelong member of Riverdale Baptist Church.  Barbara was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Miller, Sr., parents, Amos Petty, and Irene (Cloninger) Petty, sister Sarah Yard and brother J. A. Petty.  Survivors include sons, James E. Miller, Jr., Thomas K. Miller (Cindy); daughter, Tammy J. Miller; grandchildren Bradley Miller (Brittany), Matthew Miller (Marci), Shelley McClure (Wells), Emily Saporito, Christy Miller; great-grandchildren Brenden Goodson, Ella and Ava Saporito, Dakota, Abbi, Owen, Shane, Ty, Emma and Bryleigh Miller and Charleigh and Hazel McClure.  The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Riverdale Baptist Church 7124 Thorngrove Pike Knoxville, TN 37914 followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service, Minister Tom Miller officiating.  Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Old Salem Church Cemetery Wayland Road for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverdale Baptist Church.  Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com
