Barbara Jean Ingle

Barbara Ingle, age 98, of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 25, 2025, at Island Home Park Health and Rehab. She was a member of Pennington Chapel Baptist Church in Maynardville. Barbara owned and operated several beauty salons and was a prominent member of the Knoxville business community for more than 40 years.

Preceded in death by parents James and Pearl Bailey. Husband Walter Reed Ingle; sons Tim and Jimmy Ingle; Sisters Elsie Thomas, June Hill and Jama Webb; Brothers Austin Bailey and Elmer Bailey.

She is survived by a host of Nieces nephews and cousins.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the caring staff of Island Home Park Health and Rehabilitation for their compassionate care.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. Reverand Richard Nicely, Officiating.

Family and friends will meet at Boruff Cemetery at 12:45 PM on Friday, October 31, 2025, for a 1:00 PM graveside service.
