Barbara Dixon

Barbara Dixon, age 86 of Heiskell, TN passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024 at her home.  She was a longtime member of Bishopville Baptist Church.  Barbara loved the outdoors, gardening, tending to her flowers and animals. Her family was very important to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred "Hank" Dixon; parents, Delmas and Elizabeth Fields and a brother, Bill Reynolds.

Barbara is survived by her children, Freddie (Yun) Dixon, Kathy (Tony) Jett, Jennifer (Jake) Kormish; grandchildren, Matt (Alicia), Becky, Courtney (Adam), Casey (Shaylee), Candy (John) and Chen; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Clara, Gyver, Landon, Caleb, Jake, Sophy, Elliot, Dalton, Emberlee and Caizlee; several other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a funeral service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel, Scott Jones officiating. The family will meet at 12:45 P.M. on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Bishopville Cemetery for a 1:00 P.M. interment service.
