Argel Buckner

Argel Buckner, age 86, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by husband, Paul Buckner; father, Lynch Davis; mother, Nervie Davis; brothers, Bert & Johnny; and sisters, Inell Oliver and Margie Davis. She is survived by her son, Randy Buckner and loving partner, Sheila; grandson, Austin Buckner (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Damon and Effie; and siblings, Ben Davis, Wayne Davis and Blanch Snelson; she loved all her many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude to Arger’s dear friend, Angie and her niece, Karen. She was loved by all that knew her and was the greatest mother ever.
