April Joyce Kern

April Kern, age 45, of Knoxville, TN passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025. She was preceded in death by mother, Frieda Graves and grandmother, Barbara Hogan. She is survived by father, Rick Kern; sisters, Dawn Casey, Angela Dominique and Cherie Andow; children, Autumn McHaffie, Dalton and Aubrey Truan and Darren Kern; grandchildren, Maelyn Purdom and Crasher Karlstrom.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalm 23:6

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm, with a memorial service to follow, with Rev. Allen James officiating.
