Anthony Ray Hall
January 15th, 1968 – July 17th, 2025
Tony Hall, a local school foreman and resident of Knoxville, TN, passed away on July 17th, 2025 at the age of 57 while in his Clinton home.
He leaves us to join his mother, Marion; his father, Joe; his sister, Carol; and his beloved dogs, Nugget and Trouble.
A beloved father and brother, Tony is survived by his children, Seth Hall and Shelby Kirby; his son-in-law, Dylan Kirby; his grandson, Greyson; his brothers Dennis, Greg and Joey; his sisters Cathy, Rachel, Tammy, and Pamela; his cousin, Paul; and his partner, Susan Anderson.
Tony was a hard worker, proud animal lover and lived with the wind at his back. As a foreman with KCS, his hard work helped to build and maintain Knoxville schools over the years. In his free time, Tony spent his weekends amongst nature with his dogs. He mountain biked across the continental United States with anyone who’d pick up a bike and would teach anyone who couldn’t. He loved animals of all kinds, but loved dogs above anything else. Trouble, Nugget, and Honey are only some of the animals who enriched his life.
Tony Hall loved his family, his friends and his pets. He will be deeply missed by them and all who knew him.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Sunday, July 27th at Noon at Spence Cabins in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Guests are encouraged to bring food and drink in potluck.
