Anthony Scott Smelcer

Anthony Scott Smelcer, age 52, of Knoxville, TN was placed in the arms of Jesus on September 23rd, 2025.

Scott was preceded in death by his father; Raymond Smelcer, his sister and brother-in-law; Lisa and Roger, his nephew; Tyler, and his grandson; Theo.

He is survived by his mother; Geraldine, son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Holly, grandchildren, Aaliyah and Holdon, daughter, Sara Olivia, daughter and (future) son-in-law; Rayvn and Zane, brother and sister-in-law; Tommy and Stella, nephew; Tommy Ray (T-Ray), great niece and nephew, Aria and Rowen, niece and nephew-in-law; Meghan and Cody, great nephew and nieces; Caisyn, Macailyn, Hadley, Ava, and Hailey, nephew and niece-in-law; Heath and Hannah, great nieces; Harper and Hayden, brother-in-law; Kevin, and his special friend; Nikki.

Scott was a friend to many, and he held those he loved very close to his heart. He will be missed for his infectious laughter, his amazing storytelling skills, and his ability to never meet a stranger.

The family will have a private memorial.
