Anne M. Blair

Anne M. Blair, age 98 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord March 8, 2023. She was a member of Cedar Lane United Methodist Church. Anne worked in the military division of the Manhattan Project and was a nurse for 30 years. Her passions were cooking and sewing. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by husband Wayne K. Blair, parents Harry L. and Georgia L. Moore, infant brother Archie Moore, and great-granddaughter Riley Elizabeth Blair. Survived by children William David Blair and wife Lynn, Michael Wayne Blair and wife Vickie, and Kathryn Blair Waddell and husband Jim, grandchildren Jennifer Leigh Blair, Emma Katherine Cox, Melissa Megan Marum, and Joshua Shawn Blair, 9 great-grandchildren, sisters Ada Ruth Husky, Alta Lee Yarbrough, Almeta Walden MeHaffey, special pet Graeme. Family and friends will meet 2:15pm Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel to process to Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for a 3:00pm graveside service.
