Ann Ray Long

Ann R. Long age 90, of Arlington, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2025. Ann was a loving mother and wife of 70 years. She was of Baptist faith and member of First Baptist Church of Arlington, Texas. She volunteered at Mission Arlington for over 20 years. Ann was an avid bridge player for over 50 years and a self-taught painter.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Martha and Robert Ritter Sr.; and brother, Robert Ritter Jr.

Survived by husband of 70 years, Jimmy B. Long; daughters, Karen L. Brown and Janet L. McCoy (Chris); grandchildren, Parker Brown (John), Brad McCoy (Tori), Lauren Graefe (Rudy), Trey McCoy, and Madison McCoy; great grandchild, Paxton McCoy; sister, Dorothy Colbertson, and several nieces, nephews, and friends. A special thank you to the caregivers of Caris Hospice and The Pointe of Lifespring.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made towards Mission Arlington at 210 West South St., Arlington, TX 76010, ATTN: Lauren Musgraves.

Family and friends will meet at 9:45 AM for a 10:00 AM graveside service on Monday, September 22, 2025 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy.

Pallbearers: Chris McCoy, Brad McCoy, Trey McCoy and Jason Brantley.
