Angela Marie Ellis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angela Marie Ellis, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, who left us peacefully to join her loved ones in heaven. Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Diane Scott; her father, Robert Scott; her grandmother, Francis Adams; and her nephew, Sammy Scott.Angela's life was marked by her unwavering dedication, a heart full of kindness, and a smile that could light up any room. She was known for her hardworking spirit and her generous nature, always putting others before herself and making everyone feel special.She leaves behind her husband, James "Buddy" Ellis; her beloved children, Jesse Ellis and Brittany Patterson; her son-in-law, Matthew Patterson; and her daughter-in-law, Katie Ellis. Angela was also a proud grandmother to Addison and Anderson Ellis, who brought her endless joy. She is survived by her sister, Tammy Scott; brothers Robert and Michael Scott; and her best friend, Nancy Connatser, who will forever cherish her memory.Angela's legacy is one of love, resilience, and warmth. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a service to follow at 7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Rev. Marty Roberts and Rev. Mike Torrance to officiate. On Sunday, August 17, 2025 family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel at 1:15 PM to process to Fort Sumter Community Cemetery for a 2:00 PM interment.
