Andrew McPherson Mayes

Andrew McPherson Mayes, age 32, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, peacefully after a courageous battle with ALS. He enjoyed online gaming, Pokémon, comic cons, and cosplay as the Ghost Busters. He was a movie buff, an avid concert goer, and a hard worker, where his colleagues were his friends that became family. He is preceded in death by beloved parents, Donna Mayes and Eddie “Buzz” Mayes; brother, Barry Mayes; niece, Addison Truman; and many other loved ones. He is survived by daughter, Madison Mayes; sisters, Sarah (Derek) Truman, Brandi Glover, and Jennifer Mayes; nephew, Jaxon Truman; and many cousins. Family will receive friends 4:00-6:00pm, Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel, 2000 Powell Dr., Powell, TN, 37849, with celebration of life to follow at 6:00pm, officiated by, Jordan Amburn.
