Amy Lee Overton-Morse

Amy Lee Overton-Morse, age 34 of Halls, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.

Amy lived a happy life with her husband, Mark, and their two fur babies. Her niece and nephew were her whole world and she loved spending time with them. Amy cherished her family and her friends and had a deep love and strong relationship with God. The simplest pleasures in life brought Amy the greatest joy. She enjoyed singing, watching great movies and spending time with her loved ones. After a courageous, and lifelong battle with congenital heart disease, Amy passed away surrounded by those she loved.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Allen Morse; parents, David Lee Overton and Janet Sue Peace-Overton; brother, Billy Overton and wife, Cheyenne Hill; sister, Emily Overton; grandparents, Junior and Anna Irwin, and Coralotta McGee; step-grandmother, Christine Peace; fur babies, Ava and Grace; the loves of her life, nephew, Tyler and niece, Sara; many aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. A service will follow, at 6:00 pm, with Reverend Harold Hayes and Reverend Rick Howard officiating. Friends and family will meet at 10:00 am on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, for a procession to New Loyston Memorial Gardens Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside service.
