Alvin Carson Hickman

Alvin Carson Hickman, age 80, passed away peacefully at home on May 22, 2026. He was born on August 23, 1945. Alvin was a man of strong Baptist faith and proudly served in the United States Army before retiring from KUB.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Cardenberry and Pauline Hickman; and his siblings, Hubert, Edith, Gladys, Stanley, Barbara, and Brenda.

Alvin is survived by his loving wife, Patricia “Patty” Hickman; his children, Chris Hickman and Mark Hickman (Ginny); and his cherished grandchildren, Kayla Henson, Kendall Hickman, and Dalton Capps. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless friends who will miss him dearly.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Alberta, Debbie, Breann, Cory, April, John, Randy, Laurie, and Chuck for all of their help and support in every way. A special acknowledgment is also given to his beloved pets, Gypsy and Roxy.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM service at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Graveside services at ETSVC are to be determined.
