De Ford, “Bud” Alvin Curtis - passed away May 6, 2023 peacefully at home in his 91st year. He was a long time member of  Smithwood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife the love of his life “Bonnie” Hall De Ford, parents Charles and Helen De Ford, and sister Thelma Wilkerson. He is survived by son Randall De Ford (Wes Goddard); daughter Tracy Rives (Greg); grandsons Tanner and Gabe Rives; brother Virgil De Ford (Linda); and several nieces and nephews. Whether you knew him as Alvin, AC, Bud, Fraz, Crowbar, or Big Al - he was a unique; one of a kind, fierce defender, loyal friend, hard working provider, and generous person. Bud loved antique cars. Working on them, talking about them, and collecting them. He and Bonnie were dedicated members of AACA. Crowbar proudly served his country as a corporal in the Army at Fort Hood 1953-55. He was a partner in Electrical Wholesalers for nearly 50 years. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00pm Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City. Family and friends will meet 10:15am Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home to go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery, for an 11:00am graveside service.
