She is preceded in death by her brother, Johnny M. Hood; and son, Sammy (Smurf) Hood
Alice is survived by her sister, Ella Mae Hood; children, Debra Thurman, and Johnny T. Hood; granddaughter, Sabrina Neely; grandsons, Dillon Hood, Christian Hood, Cody Emert, Alex England, Christian England, Enrique England, Felipe Sanchez, Noah Blair, Ethan Blair, Gabe Murray, Issac Murry, Remi Ramon, as well as 8 great grandchildren, and special friend David Kirchenstiner.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 4:00PM-6:00PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. On Friday, April 21, 2023 family and friends will meet at Meridian Baptist Church at 10:30AM to go in procession to Meridian Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00AM graveside service, Pastor Chris Francies officiating.
