Alice Faye Parton (7/19/1947-7/15/2023).
In deepest sadness the family announces the passing of their mother. Alice Parton. She was preceded in death by beloved husband, James Edward Parton Sr.; mother, Alma Ryan Daniels; sisters, Bobbie (Jack) Rodgers, Annamay (Curtis) Cross, and Marylee (“Red”) Cole; and brother Doyd (Carol) Daniels. She is survived by loving children, James (Mary) Edward Parton Jr., Timothy (Andrea) Scott Parton, and Stacy Denise Parton; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two on the way, numerous nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Joann (Harold) Watts. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Amedisys Hospice for their loving care during this difficult time. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm, Monday, July 17, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel with service to follow at 7:00pm, officiated by Rev. Doyle Wolfenbarger.
