Albert Boyd Manis

Albert Boyd Manis, age 54, of Knoxville, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 17, 2026. He loved spending time with family and friends and reading the bible. He loved sharing Bible verses with his daughter. He will be remembered for his humor and his kind, loving, and gentle heart. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Boyd Manis Sr.; his mother, Dora Elizabeth Perry-Manis; dad, Sherman Manis; brothers, Jimmy Boyd Manis, Harold Lynn Manis, Donald Ray Manis, and Melvin Douglas Manis; son, Todd Gillen; cousin, Jeannie Manis Merritt. He is survived by daughters, Tori Manis, Caitlyn Manis and Ashley; sons, Dylan, Dustin, and sons that he raised as his own, Derek, Damian, Cody, Toby and Tyler; mother, Iva Jean Manis; brothers, Jacky Franklin Manis, Robert Manis Sr., Billy Manis, Tommy Manis, Freddy Manis, Nathan Manis, Jerry Manis; sisters, Loretta Geames, Donna Manis Collins, Norma Mitchell; grandchildren, Elijah and Josiah, Ariel and Lexi, Michael and Briela, and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 5:00pm-7:00pm with a 7:00pm funeral service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.
