Albert Benjamin Brewer III

1976 - BEN - 2026

Ben Brewer, age 50, of Knoxville, TN, gained his wings on the morning of Monday, June 29, 2026 at his home.

Born and raised in this great city. Proud to tell you he grew up in Western Heights. Even a neck tattoo to prove it. Ben loved family dinners, cookouts, bonfires, mountain hikes with adventures attached, open road travel, The Great Smoky Mountains, and anything to do with the Tennessee Vols. This man would live at Neyland Stadium if he could have. One of Ben's favorite sayings was, "Just because I have tattoos I am a very intelligent man." He could make you laugh, cry and get angry all at the same time. Loyalty ran deep with Ben. If he called you a friend, that meant something; it wasn't just a word. Benjamin Brewer- you will be truly missed for your love, devotion, dedication and laughter you gave us all.

Ben is preceded in death by Albert (Benny) Brewer ll, Mary Ward Owens, Phyllis Ward, Granny Jean Ward, Jimmy Gibby, Jay Gibby, and Jamie Gibby.

He is survived and loved by his daughter, Haille Brewer and son Jaiden Brewer. G-Paw to Weston Nelson and Jaxon Brewer. Mom, Janine Davidson, and Extended Mom, Betty Hasty; sisters, Amanda Burgin, Pamela Gray, Sister/Bestfriend Davetta Hasty; uncles, Steve Davidson, Frank Brewer, Jack Brewer and Aunt Connie; nieces and nephews including Matthew, Andrew, Little Jay, Jeanette, Jake, Josh, Brandy, Little Jimmy, Jennifer, Haley, Bubba and Kelly; Mother/Bestfriend of his children, Alisha Dugger and girlfriend, Karina Nusbaum; with many more family and friends along the way.

Ben will receive family and friends on 5-7pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, 2829 Rennoc Rd. A funeral service will follow, officiated by Andrew McAmis.
